Westfall pleads guilty to kidnapping
The 45-year-old man accused of abducting and assaulting a 6-year-old Cumberland girl pleaded guilty to a count of kidnapping and another count of attempted 2nd degree murder Wednesday morning in Allegany County Circuit Court. Stephen Matthew Westfall faces a sentence that could be “tantamount to him spending life in prison,” said Allegany County State’s Attorney Michael Twigg.
